How to choose the right type and size of ground anchor?
Choosing the right type and size of ground anchor depends on a number of factors such as soil properties, depth of excavation and construction requirements.
Here, of course, we offer advice on material selection from start to finish.
Permanent or temporary anchors
Ground anchors with a lifespan of less than 2 years are considered temporary. The normal lifespan of a permanent anchor is 100 years. If you have a construction pit where the anchors must last longer than 2 years, there are also semi-permanent anchors.
LINES OR RODS
Line anchors are often the cheapest choice and can be used both as wall and buoyancy anchors. However, with permanent buoyancy anchors there may be situations where rod anchors can prove to be the most suitable.
