We supply framing walls for both small and large projects, and there are a number of different factors that play into how the walls are installed correctly. It is important to make the right choice of frame type from the beginning, and here you can seek advice from us.
We advise on the execution method, design of the wall and any necessary bracing in relation to soil and groundwater conditions as well as deformations of nearby buildings.
It must be ensured that the chosen method does not damage buildings and surrounding areas, and that limit values for vibrations and deformations do not exceed what is permitted. It is important that you have decided from the beginning whether the construction pit is temporary or permanent.
FRAMING WALLS
When free excavation is not possible due to lack of space, stability problems or groundwater level, retaining walls can often be the most suitable solution to ensure a stable excavation.
In Denmark, we generally use four types of framing walls:
- Sheet pile walls
- king post walls
- Slit walls
- Secant pile walls.

When you are close to a building where the excavation depth is deeper than the existing foundations, or when your excavation depth exceeds 4.5 m, it is often necessary or economically advantageous to choose bracing of the framing wall.
